The opportunity: your next adventure awaits

 

The targets and clients within our Swiss Mid-Market are a crucial focus area of EY. These businesses range from start-ups all the way to multi-billion-dollar global private companies. To support our ambitious growth agenda within the Swiss Mid-Market, EY is seeking a highly motivated professional to join its Private Hub team in Berne (or Zurich) with a 50% workload. 

The role sits at the intersection of regional leadership support, business development, and selected account coordination, working closely with the Regional Leader / Office Managing Partner for Berne, the Regional Leadership Team, and senior client account stakeholders, including Global Client Service Partners (GCSPs). 

 

In this role, you will actively enable business development initiatives, support key client relationships, coordinate regional activities, and contribute to the continued growth, visibility, and market presence of EY within the Berne private market ecosystem.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Regional Leadership Team Support

  • Prepare presentation materials, financial reporting and track action points for monthly Regional Leadership meetings
  • Organization and support the preparation of yearly internal strategy meeting/offsite

 

Event Management

  • Coordinate and support a range of external events, including the Alumni and the Regional Flagship Event
  • Coordinate and support selected external sponsorship events
  • Coordinate and support the internal Year-End Summer Event

 

Internal Budget Management

  • Monitor and track expenses related to regional events and business development-related activities
  • Review and evaluate event proposals in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate and process travel requests
  • Collect, align and submit annual budget proposals

 

Account Support

  • Schedule and organize account team meetings for selected priority accounts
  • Depending on the agreed scope, prepare reports and presentation materials, and participate in account calls
  • Support and manage the annual account nomination process

 

 Evacuation / Crisis Management

  • Support evacuation and crisis management activities in coordination with the Office Managing Partner

 

Sports and Engagement Initiatives

  • Support and promote new initiatives launched by the Berne Regional Leadership

 

 What we look for 

  • Successful completion of a bachelors or masters degree (or equivalent), ideally with initial professional experience
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders at various levels
  • A collaborative, proactive and reliable working style
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on time
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
  • Self-discipline, motivation, and curiosity
