SAP CO Senior Manager

 

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

 

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO Senior Manager to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team. In this role, you will lead complex transformation programs, act as a solution architect for controlling processes, and drive the delivery of integrated SAP solutions for global clients.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end IT transformation programs with a focus on SAP Controlling (CO)
  • Act as a solution architect, designing end-to-end controlling solutions and ensuring integration with FI and other modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP
  • Manage large-scale S/4HANA implementations (greenfield, brownfield, conversions)
  • Advise senior stakeholders on target operating models, controlling processes, and SAP capabilities
  • Drive solution design, standardization, and best practices adoption
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, governance, and risk management
  • Contribute to business development / go-to-market activities (proposals, client discussions, opportunity shaping)
  • Mentor and develop team members, supporting their growth and career progression
  • Participate in implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities
  • Collaboration with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions
  • Report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Solution Architecture & Functional Leadership  deep expertise in SAP CO with strong understanding of end-to-end finance and controlling processes
  • Delivery Excellence  proven track record in leading complex SAP transformation programs
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management  ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead diverse, international teams

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Extensive experience across SAP CO areas, with strong end-to-end process understanding (typically 12+ years of experience)
  • Experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including S/4HANA
  • Proven ability to design integrated CO solutions, including FI and logistics integrations (SD, MM, PP)
  • Experience in solution architecture or leading design streams
  • Experience in leading teams and managing delivery in a consulting environment
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)

 

Ideally, youll also have

 

  • German language skills are a strong advantage
  • Experience in strategic transformation programs or advisory roles
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to inspire and guide teams
