Assistant PMO EY GDS Spain - Hybrid
Join our team at EY GDS Spain in Mlaga, where you will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience by supporting engagement teams working with Italian clients. The role focuses on providing operational, coordination and project management support across the full engagement lifecycle, helping teams deliver high quality work efficiently and consistently. This is a coordination and operations-focused role with strong emphasis on documentation, tracking and support activities to ensure project governance and quality.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects using a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Ensure high quality coordination to support end to end project management activities.
Enhance service delivery by ensuring deadlines are met, tasks are efficiently organised and proactive communication is maintained with engagement teams and stakeholders.
Support project team meetings, track progress, and help manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
Monitor project budgets, assist in cost estimation, and ensure expense tracking aligns with the approved budget.
Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare regular status updates for stakeholders.
Facilitate collaboration across teams and assist in resolving blockers or conflicts to maintain project momentum.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
At least 1 year of experience
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall.
Ability to assist in managing scope, schedule, and budget with a focus on cost control and value delivery.
Strong critical thinking, risk analysis, and issue resolution skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Highly organised, self disciplined and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
A Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Fluency in Italian (mandatory) both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with Italian client teams.
Proactive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Proven ability to assist in managing budgets, creating detailed project plans, and supporting execution across teams.
Timelines and deadlines are nonnegotiable; consistency and accuracy are key expectations.
Fluency in English.
Ideally, youll also have:
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Experience in international environments.
Experience working directly with clients
Project Management related course/certification
