Assistant Manager - Financial Due Diligence

 

 

Job Description: 

 

We are seeking an Assistant Manager in Financial Due Diligence to join our Strategy and Transactions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing analytical insights for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and assisting our clients in navigating through the complexities of the transaction process.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct financial due diligence for M&A transactions across a variety of sectors.
  • Analyze financial statements and business trends to identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports that highlight key findings and provide value-added insights to clients.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate financial due diligence findings with other aspects of the transaction process.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, fostering a learning environment and encouraging career growth.
  • Engage directly with clients, ensuring their needs are met and delivering exceptional service.
  • Support business development initiatives, including market research and proposal development.

 

 

Qualifications and Skill Set:

 

  • A professional accounting / finance qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial due diligence
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
