Assistant Manager EYP - Financial due diligence

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of potential merger and acquisition opportunities, including financial diligence.
  • Manage the execution of M&A transactions, coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic advice and insights.
  • Lead sector-specific research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
  • Utilize AI tools and technologies to enhance due diligence processes and improve decision-making.
  • Utilize Analytical and Automation tools to perform the diligence efficiently.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Educational background: CA or MBA from a recognized institution.
  • Relevant certifications in finance, investment banking, or M&A.

 

 

Technical Skills:

 

  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, Accounting, Valuation techniques, and Due diligence processes specific to M&A. Understands diligence adjustments in depth and can work during full transactional life cycle
  • Data Analytics: Proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Excel, power apps, and data analytics and visualization platforms to analyze market trends and financial data.
  • Market Research: Knowledge of third-party tools such as S&P CapIQ, Factiva, Merger market for data extraction.
  • AI and Automation: Familiarity with AI-driven tools and technologies that enhance M&A processes, such as drafting efficient prompts, predictive analytics and automated due diligence.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of M&A regulations, compliance requirements, and antitrust laws.

 

 

Soft Skills:

 

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
