Business Consulting - Senior Consultant, FS Business Transformation

Your key responsibilities 

 

The Senior Consultant will support the delivery of business transformation initiatives within the Financial Services (FS) sector, with a focus on banking and insurance. This role contributes to meeting growing client demand by driving execution excellence, supporting cross-functional coordination, and enabling effective collaboration across client engagements and software/vendor partnership models.

 

  • Support the execution of FS transformation initiatives by applying structured delivery approaches, using standardized methodologies and tools, and contributing to the management of timelines, deliverables, and quality outcomes.
  • Lead specific workstreams or project modules, including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, issue escalation, and quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Coordinate across business, technology, data, and operations teams to facilitate collaboration across workstreams and ensure aligned, integrated delivery.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders and software vendors to support coordinated, multi-party delivery, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of implementation challenges.
  • Analyze and support the redesign of end-to-end processes to improve efficiency, enable automation, and enhance data-driven decision-making while aligning business and technology objectives.
  • Support business analysis, requirements gathering, operating model design, customer journey assessment, process improvement, and implementation-related activities.
  • Assist in program execution by tracking risks, issues, dependencies, actions, decisions, and progress, while contributing to governance, reporting, and adherence to delivery standards.
  • Support and mentor junior consultants, including reviewing analysis, documentation, and project deliverables.
  • Contribute to practice development by supporting the development of deliverables, reusable assets, proposal materials, client credentials, and internal knowledge assets.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • MBA / Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, information systems, or any related fields.
  • 35 years of consulting or industry experience in business transformation, process improvement, operating model, customer experience, or technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting delivery of transformation programs within banking and/or insurance sectors.
  • Experience leading business analysis, process redesign, implementation, or project delivery workstreams within larger transformation programs.
  • Good understanding of business operations, with exposure to areas such as process improvement, operating model design, customer journey design, system implementation, Agile delivery, and/or Waterfall delivery.
  • Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies, including digital, automation, data analytics, and AI in Financial Services.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting with client teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage workstreams or specific deliverables within larger engagements.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants and reviewing project deliverables is preferred.
