Our team within Financial Management Platforms and Transformation supports the delivery, analysis and ongoing improvement of key liquidity and regulatory calculations. We work closely with Treasury, Finance, Technology and Commodities and Global Markets stakeholders to ensure the quality and integrity of critical Group Treasury outcomes.

What role will you play?

In this role you will support the production, review and analysis of Macquarie Banks liquidity calculations and reporting. You will investigate calculation outcomes, identify data and process improvements, and work with a range of stakeholders to support strategic transformation initiatives and continuous improvement across Treasury processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex issues involving data, systems and business processes.
  • Interest in financial markets, treasury, liquidity management and how financial products are represented through data, calculations and systems.
  • Confidence in building relationships with stakeholders and balancing competing priorities to deliver practical outcomes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, Dataiku or similar, and familiarity with liquidity, regulatory reporting or accounting concepts is advantageous.
