Domain Analyst

 

 

The opportunity

 

As a Domain (Insurance/Banking/WAM) Analyst at Assistant Director rank at EY this role goes well beyond research delivery. You will specialize in key domain topics, contributing to EY's distinctive perspective on client issues to support commercial impact and business development. You will support specific programs within your area of expertise to drive the global or regional domain and specific accounts' growth ambitions. Working alongside the Domain Lead Analyst and/or Coordinating Analyst, you will deliver impactful analysis and insights for your domain and its activation with clients. Your role will involve providing analytical support and strategic advice on domain developments to EY leadership and sometimes clients, in your areas of specialism.

 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Develop an internal brand to become recognized within EY as a subject matter expert in specific topic areas.
  • Engage with senior domain stakeholders to provide commercial perspectives on the issues, challenges, and opportunities facing the domain and prepare insightful analysis on the impact of those trends for EY and its clients.
  • Regularly interact and present to internal EY stakeholders, participate in account meetings, and support domain leaders, solution leaders, and senior stakeholders in preparing for client meetings and events.
  • Create commercial impact for EY by activating content with client servers across the EY network and proactively identifying opportunities for EY.
  • Collaborate with domain stakeholders and EY colleagues across Insights and Clients and Industries to bring insights that support business development activities and service delivery to clients.
  • Co-create insights/PoV with EY SMEs with an audience-first mindset and present them in a clear, compelling way.
  • Proactively contribute your own ideas for insights for the domain, based on business priorities and an understanding of the domain's dynamics.
  • Lead the creation of specific insights within areas of specialism by leveraging EY's proprietary knowledge and using data modelling and technology tools including AI while collaborating with Clients and Industries colleagues.
  • Support the activation of specific external thought leadership across the EY network.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-domain collaboration and share insights with other Insights and Clients and Industries teams.
  • Synthesize diverse perspectives and sources to develop compelling insights that drive results.
  • Identify trends and translate them into key market-facing initiatives for EY.
  • Familiarize yourself with high-quality sources of data in your domain and use both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methodologies to generate insights.
  • Understand the firm's go-to-market strategy and how Insights support exceptional client service.
  • Continually build skills in research, analysis, data analytics, and visualization.
