The opportunity

Our Regional Shared Service Center (RSS) is built to provide outstanding services to entire EY operations across the Europe Central region (33 countries), enabling them to deliver on their corporate strategy, achieve cost and performance efficiencies, help streamline regional and global functions and identify and capture growth opportunities for the future.

We are looking for an AML Centralization Support Specialist.

The role supports the CBS Risk Management - Project & Operations EC FinCrime Leader in aligning and centralizing AML / KYC processes across the Europe Central region. It focuses on assessing country-level operating models and supporting the transition to a more consistent, efficient, and scalable regional approach. The role brings transparency, structure, documentation, implementation support, and regional alignment across models.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Country-level assessment: assess AML/KYC operating models in assigned countries, collect and analyze country-level data and reports, and identify discrepancies, risks, and gaps against the target operating model, applicable laws, and EY global requirements.
  • Process mapping, standardization, and workflow design: map end-to-end AML/KYC processes, drive harmonization and documentation across the region, and design and maintain procedures, controls, and workflows.
  • Policy and framework support: support drafting, maintaining, and updating AML policy templates, firm-wide risk assessment templates, procedures, controls, guidance, and the AML policy in line with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and EY global requirements.
  • Stakeholder management and coordination: engage relevant business stakeholders and process owners in the planning and execution of centralization process. Act as a key contact point between EC Risk Management, country teams, and central stakeholders, and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT, HR, and GDS to support implementation of centralized solutions.

Skills and attributes for success:

  • Skills and attributes for success:University degree, or relevant experience, preferably in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or similar
  • Strong understanding of AML/KYC and regulatory environments and interest to further their knowledge in the field
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess complex operating models
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a timely and operative manner, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and multitask
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate across seniority levels and geographies
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset, ownership, responsibility, ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills
  • Experience in process mapping, documentation, or project coordination is an advantage
