Full Job Description
Quantitative Vol Trader | London or New York
This is a rare chance to join one of the most ambitious volatility trading teams in the industry, at a firm that has consistently punched above its weight and shows no signs of slowing down.
The team operates across the full derivatives landscape, with strategies spanning equities, commodities, and fixed income. What sets this firm apart is the quality of the people and the culture they have built around them: highly collaborative, deeply rigorous, and genuinely invested in the development of every person who joins. You will not be siloed. From day one, you are working alongside some of the sharpest minds in volatility, learning how world-class strategies are constructed, stress-tested, and scaled.
Quant Traders here grow quickly. Early responsibilities span system monitoring and trade execution support, but the trajectory is clear: a comprehensive understanding of how the firms full range of volatility strategies are developed and continuously optimised. Senior mentorship is a real commitment, not a footnote.
The firm is growing fast and hiring across multiple seats. If you have been looking for the right environment to accelerate your development as a volatility trader, this is it.
You will have:
- 1 to 3+ years of experience trading derivatives or building options trading systems
- A degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar)
- Strong Python skills and sharp mental arithmetic
Base compensation in New York runs from up to $250,000+, with a guaranteed first-year bonus and a highly competitive package thereafter.
