About the Role:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new clients, opportunities, or markets to drive revenue growth. You will focus on prospecting, qualifying leads, building early-stage relationships, and converting new opportunities into customers or revenue-generating engagements. You will be part of the Risk Sales team and report directly to Manager, Sales Development.

You Will:
Call current and prospective clients to set-up meetings for our Professional Information Business suite of products.
Work with Sales Directors, Account Executives and Sales Specialists to create sales campaigns for specific segments. Identify target groups, build prospect lists and produce qualified sales leads through targeted campaigns.
Identify and qualify new leads to achieve and exceed personal and team revenue goals.
Develop necessary internal relationships with all parts of the Professional Information Business team (Data Strategy, Product, Marketing & Sales).
Maintain records of sales calls, contacts and sales campaigns in the global CRM to provide management information.
You Have:
0-2 years of prior experience in business development, sales, or a related industry.
Demonstrated comfort with high-volume outbound outreach and working toward activity, pipeline and meeting targets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects professionally across phone, email and virtual channels.
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Teams; experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools is preferred.
Ability to utilize effective influencing strategies to gain agreement or commitment to proposed solutions in order to help advance the sales process to the next level.
Ability to drive new business opportunities within new prospects, as well as ability to upsell to existing Dow Jones customers within a team selling environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Language proficiency in English and Mandarin
