Position Summary
Our Deloitte AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help make a significant impact on our clients success. Youll work alongside talented professionals reimagining and reengineering operations and processes that are critical to businesses. Work you'll do
As a Delivery Senior Consultant on the team, you will be responsible for:
- Help manage and consult with clients on the design of Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
- Help with the installation, configuration, automation, and monitoring of cloud platform services
- Assist with the maintenance of DevOps environments based on client requirements
- Help lead system migrations and upgrades to build and deploy cloud environments
- Mentor and support junior team members

Our Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure offering provides specialized engineering capabilities to design, implement, manage, and operate hybrid cloud environments, modernize networks and AI infrastructure from the core to the edge, and incubate new infrastructure and device services to help clients stay ahead with the latest technology advances.
This opportunity sits within our Deloitte US Delivery Center model, which is dedicated to driving impactful business services. It leverages Deloittes scale and talent, as well as a center delivery model to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with standardized processes and procedures to service businesses across Deloitte.
The Deloitte US Delivery Center has a small-business feel with a big-business impact. With the resources of Deloitte and a community feel, the delivery center model provides high-quality services to our clients. USDC professionals work out of one of our specific delivery center locations, and each location presents dynamic career opportunities for professionals to focus on their work with nominal travel requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS DevOps, Terraform, and automation scripting with Python, Bash, or Ansible
- Ability to work in a hybrid model while residing within a commutable distance of Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg, or GeoHub locations in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, or Philadelphia
- Ability to spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office, approved site, or project location
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Node.js, Python, or Go
- Experience with AWS infrastructure services, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), Elastic Block Store (EBS), Elastic File System (EFS), Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Experience administering Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux, or Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, or 2022
- AWS Associate- or Professional-level certifications; Red Hat Linux system administration certification; or HashiCorp Terraform certification
- Experience with cloud operations, including backup, patching, vulnerability management, and server hardening
- Experience with CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS), or AWS Fargate
