We are seeking an exceptional individual with a proven track record of success in healthcare settings with experience with large-scale digital transformation programmes in healthcare settings.

As a valued member of our Health Solutions Team, you will leverage your technical expertise to deliver impactful digital health engagements. You will work closely with Managers, Senior Managers, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions that drive transformative changes in healthcare settings.

If you have a strong foundation in healthcare, IT systems, data management, and technical delivery, along with a passion for improving healthcare through technology, we would like to hear from you.

This role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Technical Delivery Support the implementation of digital health solutions, healthcare applications, and integration platforms. Conduct data migration, validation, and cleansing activities to ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of healthcare data during system transitions. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data mapping, system configurations, and workflows. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to configure, test, and deploy healthcare IT systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as HL7, FHIR, and GDPR. Troubleshoot technical issues related to system integration, data migration, and application performance, working proactively to resolve challenges.
  • System Integration and Interoperability Support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of HL7 interfaces, APIs, and interoperability solutions. Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards and data governance policies, maintaining data quality and security.
  • Data Management, Analytics and Innovation Perform advanced data analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, or advanced Excel to support decision-making, reporting and transformation initiatives. Support the development of dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to visualise healthcare data and support programme delivery, benefits realisation and operational performance monitoring. Stay updated on emerging healthcare technologies, such as AI, and data analytics tools, and assess their potential impact on healthcare delivery. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users, including training on healthcare applications and data quality standards.

Essentials:

  • Relevant experience in healthcare technology, digital transformation or system integration roles preferably in healthcare IT projects.
  • Hands-on experience with digital health transformation programmes, such as EPR implementations or other healthcare IT systems.
  • Experience engaging with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders to define requirements and support successful delivery of digital health initiatives.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs, web services, JSON/XML, and healthcare data standards, including HL7, FHIR, SNOMED CT, OR ICD-10.
  • Experience with data migration, validation, and cleansing processes, including the use of tools like Mirth Connect, MuleSoft, or similar integration platforms.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of large-scale healthcare transformation programmes, working with NHS organisations, healthcare providers, or healthcare technology vendors, including planning, risk management, issue resolution and benefits realisation.
  • Excellent communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business and clinical requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare applications and clinical workflows, with the ability to configure and support healthcare IT systems.
  • Experience in developing technical documentation, including data mapping, system configurations, and integration specifications.
  • Understanding of healthcare solution architecture, system integration patterns, and data flows across complex healthcare ecosystems.

Desirables:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualisation technologies.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data extraction, transformation, analysis and automation activities.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and data transformation technologies.
  • Experience with emerging technologies, such as AI, or interoperability initiatives.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and business case development.
  • Exposure to testing frameworks and practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation programmes or designing clinical digital workflows.
