We're looking for an ambitious Manager to join our growing Finance Strategy practice. If you're passionate about Finance in Banking & Capital Markets, encompassing technology, data management, and process optimisation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Manager in our Finance Strategy practice, you will have the opportunity to deliver in the following areas:

• Lead Transformative Projects: Direct and deliver impactful transformation projects for our global banking clients, guiding teams to exceptional results while providing expert finance advice.
• Cultivate Key Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming their trusted advisor
• Drive Business Growth: Play a pivotal role in expanding our banking practice through thought leadership, knowledge sharing, team development, and identifying new market opportunities.
• Collaborate across the market: Partner with leading technology providers to develop and deliver tailored solutions for our clients.
• Champion Innovation: Maintain a keen understanding of market trends and develop innovative banking finance solutions, establishing Deloitte as a thought leader.
• Foster Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior leadership and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing within the practice.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

You will be a highly entrepreneurial self-starter. This role is critical to the continued growth and success of the Finance Strategy team and will play a part in building, developing and inspiring this community.

The candidate should ideally possess the following skills and experience:

• Understanding of Finance within Financial Services, particularly Banking
• Experience of large-scale systems assessment, design and integration projects
• High level understanding of front to back information flows for Finance
• High level understanding of key Finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C)
• Working knowledge of all the key Finance systems including ledger/subledger, consolidation and reporting solutions
• Exposure to some of the key vendor offerings across Finance functional areas (ERP, EPM)
• Understanding of how AI can play a key part in solving our clients challenges
• Experience in large scale technology enabled Finance Transformation engagement
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Qualified or part qualified ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA accountant.

Finance Transformation

Our clients want to achieve maximum value from digital transformation investments in Finance. Thats where we come in. By taking a holistic view of performance improvement, including strategy, process design and technology enablement, we support the smooth operation of transformations.

This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
