Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Project Manager with a strong consultancy background to join our team. You will support a global Oracle Cloud implementation (Oracle Financials) for a professional services client. Reporting into a Deloitte Programme Director, you will be responsible for driving day-to-day delivery across the programme, ensuring effective governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring a strong understanding of ERP implementation lifecycles. You will manage project execution and identify/mitigate risks and issues. The role requires a consultative approach, strong communication skills and confidence in leading challenging conversations with senior stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience managing Oracle Cloud implementations and Oracle Financials
- Strong end-to-end ERP project management experience delivering complex programmes with understanding of ERP implementation phases, lifecycle and key activities
- Hands-on experience managing day-to-day delivery and drive outcomes, including RAID logs, risks, issues and change control processes
- Stakeholder management - Strong consultative skillset with ability to influence stakeholders and challenge where required
- Experience developing mid-level project plans from high-level programme plans
- Experience defining and working with project governance, preparing briefing packs and programme reporting materials
- Ability to align delivery to structured methodologies (e.g. Deloitte or equivalent)
- Experience working in professional services environments
Key Deliverables: responsibilities but not limited too
- Integrated programme plan (schedule, milestones, resource plan).
- Programme governance artefacts: terms of reference, steering papers, issue/change logs.
- Benefits realisation plan and post implementation review report.
- Regular executive reports and dashboards (status, risks, budget, benefits).
