Contract - Employment Lawyer
Basic information
Job description
- Comprising imaginative, innovative and entrepreneurial lawyers,
- Serving an enviable list of international clients, supported by a global footprint comprising over 400 lawyers in more than 70 jurisdictions
- Providing end-to-end solutions which:
- Harness the very best of the market-leading multi-disciplinary adjacent services offered across Deloitte, ranging from workforce transformation, pay equity and compliance, investigations and disputes, global mobility and workforce compliance consultancy support to global employment services, employee communications, reward and employment taxes assistance;
- Extend beyond pure employment law advice, to support implementing the advice and even providing outsourced operational support; and are turbo charged by technology.
- End-to-end solutions: We provide end-to-end solutions for our clients, beyond just day to day advice, with a focus on providing a holistic solution to the clients issue, using the vast and varied array of support available through Deloitte, including:
- Multi-disciplinary approach: We are different from a traditional law firm because we work as part of multi-disciplinary teams across the entire Deloitte business, drawing on the expertise of colleagues across a range of related services including global mobility, human capital consulting, tax, regulatory and technology consulting to provide integrated end-to-end people-related solutions for clients, meaning a much broader, commercial, practical and valuable service than the employment advice which traditional law firms are capable of providing.
- Implement & Operate capability: We support clients through the life cycle of the challenges they face, from initial provision of strategy and supporting legal advice through to: o implementing the advice/strategy, potentially with the assistance of HR consultancy services; and
- Operate: providing an operation to essentially outsource the issue and provide a solution that way.
- Turbo charged by technology: We leverage Deloittes technology and consulting expertise to deliver innovative technology-driven solutions to clients HR problems.
