Your impact will be immediate and tangible, contributing directly to platform stability, security and adoption.

Youll join a collaborative specialist team within a fastmoving Technology & Digital Services environment, working closely with BI & Analytics communities, peer administrators and vendor Customer Success partners. Deloitte supports flexible and inclusive ways of working, and the role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in enterprise BI platform operations, governance and security, while growing your career in a valuesled organisation.

Connect to your opportunity

Join Deloittes BI & Integration Services team as a  Tableau Platform Administrator, playing a key role in the operation and continuous improvement of our enterprise Tableau Server platform, alongside other internallyused BI platforms such as SAP BusinessObjects.

This is a platform administration and service ownership role, not a Tableau Developer position. You will work across technical platform operations and customerfacing Tableau Hosting & Engagement, supporting a missioncritical analytics platform used widely across the firm to enable insightled decisionmaking.

Operating at significant scale and complexity, the Tableau platform supports a large and diverse user base across multiple geographies. As part of a small specialist team, your contribution will be highimpact and highly visible, with real ownership and influence at Assistant Manager level.

Key Responsibilities Summary

  • Own the daytoday stability, performance, security and operation of the Tableau Server platform
  • Share responsibility for the Tableau Hosting & Engagement service, supporting onboarding, governance and user enablement
  • Lead platform monitoring, incident investigation and upgrade activity in a controlled, auditsafe environment
  • Build and maintain administrative dashboards to provide insight into platform health, usage and adoption
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation and pragmatic automation of repeatable BAU activities
  • Collaborate with BI BAU, BI Tableau Development and vendor teams to maximise platform value and service quality

You work collaboratively and build trust. You enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders from technical teams to business users and vendors and can explain complex platform topics clearly and pragmatically.

You focus on improvement, not just delivery. You naturally look for better ways of working, whether through simplifying processes, improving controls, or introducing lightweight automation that reduces risk and manual effort.

Essentials:

  • Strong experience administering Tableau Server in an enterprise or production environment
  • Proven ability to operate platforms in changecontrolled environments, including upgrades, patching and security remediation
  • Handson experience monitoring platform health, performance and capacity, and leading investigation of platformlevel issues
  • Ability to build and maintain administrative or operational dashboards to support platform insight and governance
  • Experience working closely with multiple stakeholders, providing clear guidance, updates and recommendations

  • Experience with Tableau administration and diagnostic tooling (e.g. TabMon, RMT, LogShark, Content Migration Tool)
  • Exposure to automation or scripting to support platform operations (e.g. PowerShell, Python, tabcmd)
  • Familiarity with enterprise identity and access management (e.g. AD / Entra ID, SAML SSO)
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, web application firewall rules
  • Exposure to wider BI platform administration (e.g. SAP BusinessObjects)
  • Familiarity with vendor customer success engagement
