Behind every successful derivatives trade is a team ensuring it is correctly processed, settled, reconciled and managed throughout its lifecycle.

We are looking for experienced and curious specialists to join our Derivatives Services area in Vilnius. We are hiring for two teams OTC Derivatives Services and Exchange-Traded Derivatives clearing.

This is a perfect opportunity to work with financial markets, derivatives, international customers and stakeholders and complex post-trade processes while contributing to the improvement of our operating model.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

What you will be doing

  • Manage post-trade activities for derivatives, including cash settlements, lifecycle events and trade-related transactions
  • Perform daily controls, reconciliations and break investigations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Support OTC and ETD derivatives processes throughout their lifecycle
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, brokers and external partners internationally
  • Investigate operational issues, identify root causes and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items
  • Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures and operational controls
  • Apply Lean principles to simplify, automate and optimise processes

About you

  • Higher education in Finance, Economics or related field preferred
  • 1-2+ years of experience in derivatives, securities, clearing settlements or another financial markets post-trade activities
  • Interest in financial markets and derivatives, with willingness to deepen product knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Team-oriented person who enjoys working, learning, sharing knowledge, and having fun together
  • A proactive mindset with willingness to challenge existing processes and look for improvements
  • Upper-intermediate English language skills both in speaking and writing

Monthly salary range from 2200 EUR to 3300 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
