Job Overview
The Transactional Foreign Exchange (TFX) Specialist is responsible for managing foreign exchange transactions generated through Citis cross-border payment solutions across a range of automated channels. The role plays a critical part in delivering scalable FX solutions that support clients cross-border payments and FX Treasury needs. Key responsibilities include :
- Providing FX expertise and innovative solutions to automate and monetize flows within TFX remit
- Executing TFX strategy supporting Citis Cross Border Payments vision - No borders, No currencies, No constraints
- Central oversight and governance for all FX Risk within Sales and FXJVs
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day FX execution activities that falls within the remit of TFX
- Develop and implement process improvements to drive TFX automation while achieving operational & client excellence
- Identify key corridors / business growth opportunities via close engagements with Sales, Trading and Product / JV partners
- Provide expertise in product & pricing discussions to support client RFP or deal engagements
- Manage and reduce operational FX risk for Sales and Trading
- Involved in product development activities including system enhancements and testing
Knowledge/Experience
- Strong knowledge and/or experience in Foreign Exchange and Cross Border payments
- Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Strong data analytics skills with problem-solving mindset
- Works well in a team environment
- Added advantage : Chinese language (written & spoken), CFMAS / FMRP certification
Education Level
- Degree in Economics/Banking/Finance or relevant market / working experience
