Job Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with Trading, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Technology, and other support functions to ensure accurate trade capture, effective risk controls, and smooth post-trade processing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Rates products, trade lifecycle management, and Middle Office controls within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Interest Rate Derivatives
In this role, youre expected to:
- Perform trade booking validation and Front-to-Back reconciliations to ensure accurate trade capture and processing.
- Monitor trade lifecycle events and support the timely resolution of trade breaks, discrepancies, and operational issues.
- Conduct daily control activities and exception monitoring to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Partner with Trading, Operations, Technology, Finance, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve trade-related issues.
- Support trade amendments, allocations, lifecycle events, and other post-execution activities.
- Assist with implementation of new products, business initiatives, and regulatory changes impacting the Rates business.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the enhancement of operational controls and efficiencies.
- Support regulatory, audit, and control-related requirements as needed.
- Escalate operational risks, control issues, and processing exceptions to management in a timely manner.
- Provide analytical support to the Rates Trading business and Middle Office management.

As a successful candidate, youd ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills: root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Business level Japanese and English.
- Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills across regions.
