Job Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with Trading, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Technology, and other support functions to ensure accurate trade capture, effective risk controls, and smooth post-trade processing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Rates products, trade lifecycle management, and Middle Office controls within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Interest Rate Derivatives

In this role, youre expected to:

• Perform trade booking validation and Front-to-Back reconciliations to ensure accurate trade capture and processing.
• Monitor trade lifecycle events and support the timely resolution of trade breaks, discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Conduct daily control activities and exception monitoring to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Partner with Trading, Operations, Technology, Finance, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve trade-related issues.
• Support trade amendments, allocations, lifecycle events, and other post-execution activities.
• Assist with implementation of new products, business initiatives, and regulatory changes impacting the Rates business.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the enhancement of operational controls and efficiencies.
• Support regulatory, audit, and control-related requirements as needed.
• Escalate operational risks, control issues, and processing exceptions to management in a timely manner.
• Provide analytical support to the Rates Trading business and Middle Office management.

As a successful candidate, youd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills: root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Business level Japanese and English.
• Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills across regions.

• Bachelors Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
