Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business.  We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfasts iconic Titanic Quarter.

You can play an important part in transforming and simplifying our operating model. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of transactions. The successful candidates will attend a two week Market Operations Training Academy if required. This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.

What you'll do:

  • Management of client trade activity, liaising with traders and clients to resolve any issues

  • Contribute to the development of new techniques and improve processes and workflows that will effectively manage risk and service our clients to a high standard.

  • Helping to maintain a culture and environment where processes, risks and controls are continually monitored and potential risks are escalated on a timely basis

  • Prepare reports for senior stakeholders in a timely manner

  • Understand impact of applicable regulations on the business area and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met

What well need from you:

  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written

  • Strong risk management and control mindset

  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, results orientated.

  • Experience using Microsoft Packages

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
