As an Investment Operations Analyst within our operations team, you will be at the centre of the operating model that supports our investment activityensuring the seamless execution, settlement, and administration of a broad spectrum of financial products. We have multiple open roles across a number of different teams within Investment Operations, offering opportunities to align to areas covering Alternatives, Mutual Funds, Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, and Regulatory Reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including investors, trading groups, client service teams, other operational groups as well as technology partners to deliver outcomes that have a real impact for our clients, support process improvements, and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and client service. In this role, you will develop your analytical skills, contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork, and develop a broad understanding of the investment lifecycle with the opportunity of rotating through a variety of functions in your early career with us.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide operational support across product channels and lifecycle activities, which may include trade support, confirmations, settlements, cash processing, asset transfers, corporate actions, reconciliations and reporting
- Monitor daily workflows and identify changes, breaks, and gaps in operational processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process standardization, controls enhancement, and operational risk reduction across end-to-end touchpoints
- Ensure accurate and timely escalation and resolution of inquiries, exceptions, and client-impacting issues
- Address ad hoc queries from front office, technology, finance, custodians, brokers, fund administrators, and other internal/external stakeholders
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory or internal reporting requirements, maintaining strong governance and documentation standards
- Collaborate with business, technology, and operations partners to support requirements gathering, testing, and implementation for future enhancements, products, and control improvements
- Learn and adopt approved AI tools and new technologies to enhance operational servicesimproving efficiency, accuracy, and client outcomes while maintaining strong controls, governance, and data discipline
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Entry-level role - no prior experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with working proficiency in English
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data (e.g., organizing, validating, reconciling, and reporting) with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Highly disciplined self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Intellectually curious with an attention to detail
- Team player with a strong work ethic, professionalism, a continuous improvement mindset and an ability to collaborate across global teams
