Job Overview

The ETF Operations Intermediate Associate Analyst is responsible for assisting in a variety of ETF operations activities in coordination with the ETF Services team. As an overseer of ETF primary market orders, you will collaborate with fund managers, stakeholders, and service providers to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • ETF creation and redemption order processing, both in-kind and cash.
  • ETF collateral management and P&L calculations.
  • Partner with Authorized Participants (APs) and custodian to research and resolve cash and trade processing exceptions.
  • Ensure client service level agreement (SLA) and deadlines are met, as well as AP contractual agreements upheld.
  • Monitor and research exceptions to ensure adherence to audit and control policies, identify issues where trade and cash settlement is non-straight-through processing, and correct root cause.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years of experience with accounting, finance, or business-related area, with ETF industry experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international markets is ideal but not required.
  • Ability to work in a structured, high-volume, time-sensitive, high-risk, and demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and suggest solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree/University degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
