Job Overview

The Corporate Salesperson is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell separate account services or finance products directly to corporate clients
  • Will help team to service clients in the buying and selling of securities, derivatives, FX and commodities
  • Help drive the team's developed strategy across specified product line
  • Aid to achieve specified goals in both market and wallet share for the identified client franchise
  • Originate and execute meaningful and landmark transactions
  • Will independently and/or jointly work within business product to achieve the strategic growth and market share we are aiming for
  • Individuals at this level continue to develop their knowledge of the business (e.g., firms products and services), marketplace, and clients
  • Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of client
  • Help foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise
  • Understand and analyze clients businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
  • Ensure and facilitate optimal discussions with the clients with guidance from team leads or Desk Head
  • Leading strong governance and controls
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firms reputation.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citis Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years relevant experience

Buscamos un Ejecutivo FX Junior motivado para integrarse a la Mesa de FX dentro del rea de Mercados. Este rol tiene como objetivo apoyar en la atencin, asesora y ejecucin de operaciones cambiarias para clientes del segmento empresarial, contribuyendo al fortalecimiento del posicionamiento del banco en el mercado FX.

La posicin est orientada a perfiles en desarrollo dentro de mercados financieros, con inters en construir una carrera en FX Sales. El enfoque estar en gestionar relaciones existentes, dar seguimiento a clientes activos, apoyar en la ejecucin de operaciones y brindar soluciones oportunas.

El candidato ideal cuenta con una base slida en mercados financieros, inters por el entorno macroeconmico, atencin al detalle y habilidades de comunicacin. Se espera que pueda interpretar condiciones de mercado, colaborar estrechamente con otras reas y acompaar a los clientes en sus necesidades cambiarias del da a da, siempre bajo altos estndares de control, cumplimiento y gestin de riesgos.

Responsabilidades principales

  • Apoyar en la gestin y atencin de clientes corporativos del segmento empresarial.

  • Ejecutar operaciones de FX spot, forwards y soluciones bsicas de cobertura, bajo supervisin.

  • Brindar seguimiento a clientes activos, asegurando calidad en el servicio y oportunidad en la ejecucin.

  • Colaborar en la identificacin de oportunidades comerciales dentro de la cartera existente (farming).

  • Preparar informacin de mercado y apoyar en la comunicacin de insights relevantes a clientes.

  • Trabajar de forma coordinada con reas internas como trading, riesgo, crdito, onboarding y compliance.

  • Dar seguimiento post-venta y apoyar en el acompaamiento integral del cliente.

  • Contribuir al cumplimiento de polticas internas, controles regulatorios y gestin de riesgos.

  • Apoyar en la implementacin de estrategias comerciales definidas por el equipo senior.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia inicial o prcticas en mercados financieros, FX, derivados o productos financieros (02 aos deseable).

  • Inters en una carrera comercial dentro de Mercados Financieros / FX Sales.

  • Conocimiento bsico/intermedio de productos FX (spot, forwards) y nociones de coberturas.

  • Habilidades analticas para entender dinmicas de mercado.

  • Fuertes habilidades de comunicacin, organizacin y trabajo en equipo.

  • Capacidad para operar en entornos dinmicos y manejar mltiples tareas.

  • Alto sentido de responsabilidad, tica profesional y atencin al detalle.

  • Experiencia deseable en creacin de relaciones empresariales

  • Ingls intermedio/avanzado (deseable).

  • Deseable: Certificacin AMIB (o disposicin para obtenerla).
