Job Overview

Citis Finance Division is comprised of various global functions, including Corporate Strategy and M&A, Treasury, Controllers, Financial
Planning & Analysis, as well as dedicated groups supporting each of our business segments. The Finance Division is the guardian and
communicator of key financial information and controls. As a partner with Citis various businesses and functions, Citi Finance drives business
franchise and legal entity decisions on capital planning, liquidity, budgeting, tax, strategic direction and policy management.


Citis Corporate Strategy and M&A function, serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership to address high impact strategic issues across
Citis businesses and functions. The team works in close partnership with business heads and senior leadership to identify opportunities and
issues of strategic importance, develop transformational strategies to achieve business mandates, drive change by partnering with business
leadership, and provide clarity in complex problems to facilitate decision-making. The Executives Scorecards team sits within the Corporate
Strategy and M&A function.


The Citi Executive Scorecards team is responsible for establishing global standards for key performance metrics and ensuring consistent
usage and reporting across planning, review, and performance management processes. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for
developing, implementing and maintaining a globally robust, consistent, and efficient controls framework. Additionally, the candidate will beproviding support for management oversight for the Citi Executive Scorecards team. The candidate will lead strategic initiatives to improve, automate, and standardize the production environment. Successful candidates will have excellent stakeholder management skills, experience maintaining a strong control environment and have strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Address strategic issues on an ad hoc basis that are complementary to the regular planning and analysis processes.

  • Manage the monthly Executive Scorecard reporting process within defined timelines inclusive of population reconciliations for publication, ensuring data validation and processing of change requests in alignment with the Executive Scorecard teamguidelines.

  • Actively participate in strategic discussions with internal teams and stakeholders regarding scorecard creation, metricattribution.

  • Enhance the existing controls framework by identifying gaps, perform root cause analysis and driving technology and processsolutions towards remediation.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputationand safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adheringto Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating,managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Delivering thought leadership and supporting the implementation of changes necessary to enhance Citis Executive Scorecardproduction processes and satisfy evolving senior management and board of directors requests (i.e., AI use cases, enhancinguser experience, etc.,).

  • Developing a strong working relationship with stakeholders across the organization in support of their individual responsibilitiesand in support of creating a holistic framework in which the firm executes its strategic priorities.

  • Team member of several professionals interacting with members across multiple locations on a daily basis.


Qualifications:

  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated presentation skills.

  • Strong background in accounting, financial analysis or internal audit, with demonstrated understanding of substantive reviews and internal controls.

  • Previous experience(s) in Finance/Internal Audit function is preferred.

  • Experience supporting across multiple business lines, preferably with exposure to the Wealth, Risk and Client teams.

  • Understanding of capital markets, retail banking and/or institutional banking is a must.

  • Strong business instincts and ability to apply independent judgment to historical business practices, with a proven ability and willingness to challenge the status quo. Must be a change agent, ensuring others understand current direction.
    A self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently.


Education:

  • Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Masters degree, CA/CFA/CPA preferred
