Job Overview

The Ops Sup Sr. Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination with the Operations - Core team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small Operation Support team (typically up to 10) through delegating daily tasks and responsibilities as well as recommending new work procedures to help streamline operations
• Conduct training, monitor quality and quantity of team work and provide feedback on performance, including making recommendations on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
• Analyze Operations information and make evaluative judgements to solve problems
• Responsible for Identifying and resolving routine problems and operational issues with broader departmental impact within established procedures
• Identify hiring needs to ensure adequate staffing
• Serve as a backup for manager, as needed
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Ability to manage teams.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of related business experience including at least one-year supervisory experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proactive leadership and motivational skills
• Proven organization and time management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

El especialista de Seguros administrar y dar seguimiento a los programas de seguros corporativos del banco, asegurando una adecuada gestin de plizas, primas, coberturas y procesos administrativos relacionados, as como la coordinacin con brokers y mercados aseguradores nacionales e internacionales.

Requisitos:

• Licenciatura en reas Econmico-Administrativas, Finanzas, Actuara, Seguros o afines. (Necesario concluida).

• Experiencia comprobable de 2 a 5 aos el sector asegurador, preferentemente en compaas de seguros, brokers o reas corporativas de administracin de seguros y en Operacin y Servicios Bancarios.

• Conocimiento slido en:

  • Administracin y gestin de plizas.

  • Seguros de vida y otros seguros corporativos.

  • Revisin y anlisis de primas, coberturas y tarifas.

  • Renovacin anual de plizas y negociacin de condiciones.

  • Seguimiento administrativo y control documental.

• Conocimiento en temas de regulaciones, polticas de MCA, ARCM, experiencia en actividad riesgo, control y monitoreo, experiencia implementacin de controles operativos referentes a la Administracin de Seguros y Fianzas.

• Manejo de Excel avanzado para anlisis y control de informacin. PowerPoint. Elaboracin de reportes ejecutivos

• Ingls intermedio deseable, con capacidad para interactuar con brokers o documentacin relacionada con mercados internacionales.

• Competencias: Habilidad de negociacin, comunicacin efectiva y orientacin al cliente interno, capacidad analtica, organizacin y seguimiento, atencin al detalle, trabajo colaborativo con reas internas y proveedores externos.

Responsabilidades:

• Administrar y dar seguimiento a las plizas de seguros corporativas del banco.

• Coordinar los procesos de renovacin anual de seguros y revisin de coberturas.

• Analizar primas, tarifas y asignaciones a entidades legales, garantizando su pago oportuno.

• Dar seguimiento a procesos administrativos, controles internos y documentacin relacionada con seguros.

• Coordinar la comunicacin con brokers externos responsables de las negociaciones con mercados aseguradores, incluyendo mercados internacionales como Londres.

• Apoyar en la evaluacin de propuestas de cobertura y condiciones comerciales.

• Generar reportes y anlisis que faciliten la toma de decisiones respecto a los programas de seguros.
