Your role

As a Supply Planning Team Manager, you will guide and grow a team focused on production planning, ensuring strong execution and continuous development of capabilities. You will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end planning activities, including master production scheduling and capacity alignment, while supporting key planning cycles and business priorities. The role involves proactively identifying and resolving supply risks through close collaboration with cross-functional and global stakeholders to maintain smooth operations. Additionally, you will drive performance improvement, ensure high standards of data quality and governance, and contribute to strategic initiatives and transformation efforts within supply planning.

Your tasks

  • Lead and develop the Supply Planning team responsible for production planning and scheduling, ensuring high-quality execution and continuous capability building.
  • Manage team workload, provide coaching and guidance, and ensure operational continuity across planning activities.
  • Oversee end-to-end supply planning processes, ensuring robust, constraint-validated MPS and capacity plans.
  • Lead IBP and ITP planning cycles, ensuring accurate scenario preparation and alignment with business objectives.
  • Own supply planning KPIs, leading performance reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure high standards of planning quality, data accuracy, and governance compliance across all outputs.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for supply risks, capacity constraints, and planning challenges.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and continuous improvement efforts across supply planning.

Your profile

  • Above10 years of experience in supply chain planning, including production planning, preferably in FMCG or complex global organisations.
  • Proven leadership experience managing planning teams and driving performance, capability development, and engagement.
  • Strong expertise in end-to-end supply planning processes, including MPS, capacity planning, and scenario management.
  • Deep understanding of IBP/S&OP frameworks and ability to lead cross-functional planning cycles and decision-making forums.
  • Proven ability to manage supply risks, resolve complex planning challenges, and ensure continuity of supply across networks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in KPI management, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder) and advanced Excel capabilities (Power BI, experience with SQL, data warehouses, and system implementations is a plus).
  • Fluent in English.
