Full Job Description
Your Role
- Administer, maintain and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases with expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of database administration backup and recovery and performance tuning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues; including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Collaborate with application developers to support database-driven applications.
- Create and manage database user accounts roles and permissions.
- Plan and execute the migration from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2019 or the latest version ensuring a smooth transition with minimal downtime
- Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations; procedures; and policies.
- Perform database capacity planning and recommend software upgrades as needed.
- Deploy/Maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and dashboards for data visualization and business intelligence
- Collaborate with application developers to support database-driven applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later versions.
- Experience with performance monitoring and optimization.
- Experience with automation and scripting for database administration tasks.
