Senior Software Engineer

Your Role:

  • Develop, integrate and maintain software for broadband and connected home devices.
  • Design and implement new features for residential gateways, WiFi routers, mesh solutions and IoT devices.
  • Contribute to the evolution of RDKB, prplOS and Linux-based embedded platforms.
  • Develop and integrate network services and protocols including WiFi, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, TR069 and USP.
  • Perform software debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA and DevOps teams.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and release activities.
  • Produce technical documentation and design specifications.
  • Participate in interoperability testing, certification and validation activities.
  • Engage with telecom operators, chipset vendors and hardware partners.

Your profile:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience for Engineer level.
  • 5+ years of experience for Senior Engineer level.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++ and Linux Shell Scripting.
  • Experience with Embedded Linux development environments.
  • Knowledge of WiFi, Ethernet, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, NAT and VPN technologies.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins and CI/CD environments.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with broadband CPE, residential gateways, mesh WiFi or connected home devices.
