Your role
You focus on the maintenance, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud environments based on Microsoft Azure. Working hands-on with infrastructure and code, you support large-scale IT environments by managing configurations, improving automation, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. Your role combines engineering expertise with operational support, ensuring secure, efficient, and high-performing cloud solutions while collaborating closely with project teams.
Your tasks
- Deliver and execute tasks within the defined technical scope of Azure-based environments
- Develop and maintain scripts and code (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell)
- Administer, support, deploy, and develop Azure cloud infrastructure components
- Maintain and improve automation and configuration management practices
- Work with and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Identify and remediate gaps in legacy or non-compliant environments
- Ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence across cloud environments
Your profile
- You have experience working in large-scale IT environments and Azure Cloud technologies
- You bring hands-on experience as an engineer in Azure-based solutions
- You are skilled in provisioning, automation, and configuration management
- You are proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell)
- You are familiar with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)
- You have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, security concepts, and tools such as Terraform or Bicep
- You demonstrate solid knowledge of Azure core services, monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics), and system environments (Linux/Windows)
- You bring awareness of modern cloud practices such as containers (Docker, Kubernetes), FinOps, or working in regulated environments, with certifications as an advantage
