In this role you will play a key role in:
- Design and model transportation networks to optimize total landed cost while meeting service and production requirements.
- Develop transportation plans based on volume forecasts, RANs (Release Authorization Numbers), and master production schedules.
- Prepare and validate export and shipping documentation in compliance with automotive customer and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor shipments through trackandtrace tools and proactively manage exceptions.
- Analyze transportation and logistics data to identify cost drivers, service gaps, and operational inefficiencies.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or 3PL management within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive production planning, logistics flows, and JIT/JIS principles.
- Handson experience with freight audit, carrier management, and transportation cost control.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, BI tools, TMS, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
