Your role

We are seeking a Second Line Systems Support Engineer to support enterprise IT environments. The role involves managing service tickets, performing both planned and unplanned operational tasks, and ensuring system stability across Windows, Linux, and AIX platforms. The position also requires active participation in continuous improvement initiatives and close collaboration with other technical teams.

Your tasks

  • Provide second-line systems support
  • Manage and resolve tickets related to incidents, service requests, changes, problems, and patching activities
  • Perform scheduled operational tasks as well as ad hoc technical interventions
  • Participate in the implementation of system and process improvements
  • Cooperate with internal IT teams to maintain service quality and availability

Your profile

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in French
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, and AIX systems
  • Experience with enterprise scheduling tools (e.g. Control-M, IBM Workload Scheduler)
  • Hands-on administration of Windows Server (VMware & physical servers)
  • System maintenance, patching (WSUS), and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to analyze logs, monitor system health, and tune performance
  • Automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Solid understanding of LVM, filesystems, disk management, and NAS
  • Experience resolving system, filesystem, service, and VM performance issues
