Job Description

Capgemini is seeking an experienced IMS Engineer to support enterprise datacenter infrastructure operations, focusing on storage, SAN, and networking technologies. The role involves managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-availability infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM SVC, Brocade SAN, and Dell Storage Systems including PowerMax, Unity, PowerStore, and Compellent.
• Manage enterprise datacenter infrastructure, ensuring performance, stability, and availability.
• Perform storage provisioning, zoning, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
• Support networking-related activities within the datacenter environment.
• Follow ITIL/ITSM processes for incidents, changes, and problem management.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an enterprise datacenter environment.
• Outstanding English communication, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Strong hands-on experience in managing and supporting IBM SVC storage virtualization environments.
• Expertise in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Brocade SAN switches and SAN fabric infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Dell EMC Storage platforms, including: PowerMax, Unity, PowerStore, Compellent.
• Solid understanding of storage management, provisioning, replication, and performance monitoring.
• Good knowledge of datacenter networking fundamentals, including switching, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in high-availability enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Good understanding of ITIL/ITSM methodologies.
