Long Description

Your Role

In this role, you will:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in Plastic & Sheet product design and development using Creo. Experience in High Sensors, voltage connectors, Relays, Switches or Functional Plastic parts design is preferred.
  • Hands on experience in Creepage and Clearance analysis and Insulation Coordination
  • Drive New product development from Requirements to Production release.
  • Identifying suitable materials for specific mechanical components based on mechanical properties, environmental conditions, and cost considerations.
  • Perform DFMA (Plastic, Machining, Stamping) analysis.
  • Apply GD&T and perform Tolerance stack-up analysis for components/Sub-system.
  • Create SFMEA, DFMEA and identify relevant product Hazardous, Cause and mitigation plan. Transferring the mitigation plan into CTQ and CTFs.
  • Good in Plastics and Sheet metal stamping design and development.
  • Create Manufacturing drawings and Assembly drawings with exploded views, BOM and Assembly Instruction etc.
  • Prepare Verification and Validation Plan, Test case, Test report, etc
  • Hands on experience in Structural and Thermal Hand calculations
  • Maintains CAD files and corresponding documents in Windchill Plink data management system.
  • Creating Engineering change plans and releasing of documents based on change management process.
  • Well versed with product lifecycle management process.
  • Hands on experience in Creo, Windchill, Engineering Change management activities

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • BE-Mechanical Engineering
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-driven and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to effectively work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving.
  • Flexible work schedule to work with global teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Automotive Electromechanical Plastic components (High Voltage Connectors, Sensor, Switch, Terminals) design and Development
  • Experience in Product Verification and Validation
  • Experience in DFMA (Plastics and Stamping), DFMEA, FEA, etc
  • Exposure to IQ/OQ/PQ/PPAP
  • Exposure to Injection molding and Sheet metal stamping process
