Job Title: Business Analyst - Cards

Location: Manchester

About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Card Controls initiatives and system change projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by analyzing requirements, assessing existing systems, and producing detailed functional and technical specifications.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with data mapping, including analysis of data flows and transformation requirements.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed IT/system requirements.
  • Experience developing UML Sequence Diagrams and other solution documentation artifacts.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Your Skills

  • Interpret and analyze business requirements and convert them into clear, detailed IT requirements.
  • Review and assess current ('as-is') systems and processes.
  • Produce functional and technical specification documents for new systems and system enhancements.
  • Perform data mapping analysis to support system changes and integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with Business SMEs, Architects, Developers, Testers, and Business Analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the design and delivery of Card Controls system enhancements and change initiatives.
  • Create and maintain solution documentation, including UML Sequence Diagrams and process flows.
  • Ensure requirements are clearly documented and aligned with business objectives and technology standards.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in Card Controls or card servicing domains.
  • Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall project delivery environments.
  • Experience supporting system change initiatives involving data mapping and integration requirements.
