About the Job you are considering:

Capgemini Financial Services is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer DevOps Engineer to design build automate and support enterprisevscale AWS cloud solutions and data platform services The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining AWS Service Catalog products for data processing data access provisioning network setup security controls and platform onboarding

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

  • This role requires deep expertise across AWS cloud services infrastructure as code platform engineering DevOps automation security controls and data engineering
  • The candidate will work closely with platform teams security teams governance stakeholders and application teams to deliver compliant scalable and automated cloud solutions
  • Experience with client Enterprise Data Platform EDP is highly preferred and will be a key selection criterion

Your Skills:

  • Support the design development and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure and AWS Service Catalog products for data processing access provisioning networking and security use cases
  • Work with AWS services including S3 Lambda Glue Athena IAM KMS EC2 VPC SNS SQS CloudWatch CloudTrail Route 53 and CloudFormation to build and support cloudbased solutions
  • Assist in DevOps and platform engineering activities including CICD pipeline support infrastructure automation environment provisioning monitoring troubleshooting
  • Support implementation of security and governance controls including IAM access management encryption audit logging compliance monitoring and adherence to enterprise cloud standards
  • Collaborate with platform CISO and CTO to secure approval and address risk stories
  • Experience with Barclays Enterprise Data Platform EDP and familiarity with the Barclays AWS ecosystem security controls governance standards and cloud operating model will be highly desirable and considered a strong advantage
