Your role

  • As an Aerodynamic Operations Engineer specialising in Low Pressure Compressors, you will play a key role in solving complex aerodynamic challenges in both production and in-service environments, ensuring that certification margins are maintained and operational efficiency is continuously improved.

    In this role you will play a key role in:

    • Addressing technical issues arising in production and service environments, assessing the aerodynamic impact of manufacturing deviations and proposing practical, robust solutions that maintain certification margins.
    • Managing concessions and non-conformities, ensuring timely and technically sound resolutions that meet both regulatory and operational requirements.
    • Supporting fleet and maintenance shop operations, responding to customer technical requests and defining maintenance criteria and repair solutions.
    • Driving process improvement and cost reduction initiatives, contributing to the optimisation of production and service engineering workflows.
    • Supporting the certification of modifications and new applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure full compliance with airworthiness standards.

Your Profile

We are looking for a technically strong and customer-focused engineer who thrives in an operational environment and brings both analytical depth and practical problem-solving to every challenge.

  • You hold an engineering degree specialising in Aerodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics or equivalent, and bring at least 2 years of proven aerodynamic engineering experience, ideally with exposure to turbomachinery.
  • You have solid knowledge of CFD tools and Python, and are comfortable applying these in an operational and industrial context.
  • You are able to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand tolerancing, with a strong grasp of production processes and service engineering environments.
  • You are fluent in French and have a good command of technical English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
  • You bring a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritise and respond with agility under pressure in a field-oriented, customer-facing environment.
