Key Responsibilities:
As a Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve.
Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging in the five aspects of Performance Engineering, which include software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, and be responsible for team decisions.
You will engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across various teams.
Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement performance testing strategies to ensure application reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system performance.
Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on performance engineering best practices.
Continuously evaluate and refine performance testing tools and methodologies.
