MISSION
As a Legal Counsel, you will safeguard the banks digital and contractual landscape. Youll monitor regulatory changes, advise business units, and ensure privacybydesign across products. Your guidance will translate complex law into actionable measures, protecting our customers and strengthening BNPP PFs market leadership.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Identify and assess legal risks stemming from contracts, dataprivacy and cybersecurity activities.
  • Monitor legislation (GDPR, anticorruption, sectorspecific rules) and issue timely alerts to stakeholders.
  • Draft, review and improve electronic contracting processes, including esignature and authentication standards.
  • Provide legal support for product design, project lifecycles and digitalIP initiatives, delivering training as needed.
  • Liaise with external counsel, regulators and the Spanish Data Protection Authority to resolve inspections and breaches.

WHAT YOULL BRING

  • Law degree (LL.B, J.D. or equivalent) and active licence to practise in Spain.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in commercial contract law, preferably within a multinational or techfocused firm.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR, dataprotection and sectorspecific regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and English communication skills; French is a plus.
  • Ability to balance commercial goals with risk mitigation and to lead crossfunctional training.
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and a proactive, ethical mindset.
