Job Title: Assistant Vice President

About Business line/Function: Regulatory Reporting

Position Purpose: 

The US Financial & Regulatory Reporting Team is responsible for the production of financial and regulatory reports and information required to ensure compliance to regulatory expectations as well as other internal monitoring requirements. The Local Regulatory Reporting team is under expansion and going through different projects of on-boarding new processes along-with implementing changes in accordance to new BNP accounting and reporting system (OFS).

Team member of  financial reporting for US GAAP for the Intermediate Holding Company (IHC), BNP Paribas USA, Inc. and combined U.S. operations (CUSO). Responsibility include maintaining HFM chart of accounts, preparation of financial statements and reports for management, and preparation of audited annual report for the IHC.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Contribute to financial statements production for IHC and BNPP Securities Corp.
  • Perform month-end closing.
  • Participate in Annual Report preparation.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly package, Management Boards packages
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
  • Maintain IHC chart of accounts.
  • Prepare IHC variance analysis, provide comments, and follow up on questions and concerns

  •  Capability to work and interact with various people of different expertise and level.

Specific Qualifications:

 Chartered Accountant with exposure in accounting of banking products/activity and on US GAAP

 Knowledge of financial reporting processes in Banking and Capital Market industry

 Knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) activities and products

 Good communication (oral and written), organisation and documentation skills.

Knowledge of Axiom or other financial or regulatory reporting tools preferred
