Essential skills: quantitative finance, coding (preferably Python), and financial information systems (e.g., Bloomberg). Responsibilities: Within the investment department, work closely with the CIO and a team of investment & ALM experts and financial engineers to design quantitative solutions for the management of AXA HKs investment portfolios and balance sheet. The job holder will have exposure to public equity & debt strategies, alternatives & derivative strategies (both systematic and tactical). Participate in the design and implementation of investment strategies (both systematic and tactical). Provide analysis of investment strategies and assess potential balance sheet impacts (across all relevant dimensions incl. Solvency, Risk, Accounting, Liquidity, etc.). Develop and maintain code-based quantitative solutions. Support and implement best practices for tech integration workloads. Enhance & automate data analytics & reporting systems. Qualifications: Degree holder from a reputable university, ideally with specialization in finance with quantitative elements and/or qualified/studying towards industry standard financial examinations. Ideally 3+ years working experience in investment or insurance sectors with a major financial institution, but all highly motivated and ambitious candidates with the right qualifications are welcome. Excellent quantitative finance skills are a must. Excellent and demonstrable coding experience is strongly preferred. Prior exposure to Liability Driven Investment and experience operating in an institutional finance context is strongly preferred. Experience using financial information systems (e.g. Bloomberg) is preferred. Fluent English verbal and written.
