We are a Financial Accounting team looking for a new colleague for the position of Accountant in Ostrava, on a fixed-term contract as a maternity/parental leave cover. What youll be doing: Processing documents and reviewing accounting entries and ledgers Preparing documentation from assigned agendas for tax returns Cooperating with clients in the area of invoicing and accounts receivable management Posting standard and non-standard accounting transactions Performing internal controls Participating in projects Contributing to the review and potential improvement/simplification of processes Supporting closing activities and preparing reports Assisting with the preparation of documentation for audits and inspections What youll bring: Has at least a secondary education with a school-leaving exam Has experience in accounting Has strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data linking, etc.) Can work in an international team and take responsibility for partial agendas across multiple entities Is able to meet deadlines Has strong attention to detail Has native-level Czech and at least B2 level English What we offer: At AXA Partners, were appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that.
