Core Business Services Senior Accountant, Cambodia

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced senior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. A successful senior accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting to produce accurate and timely financial reports, daily tasks and monthly/yearly tax declaration. 

Your key responsibilities

• Prepare a fixed asset schedule and monthly reconciliation
• Review expense, billing, collection, accounts payable, and receivable reports and take necessary action as needed
• Prepare for the monthly financial close process, including making sure all expenses incurred are properly recorded; review of journal entries; account balance reconciliations; and monthly report preparation
• Prepare monthly tax declaration
• Prepare year-end financial statement, as well as internal/external audit reports
• Implementation of sound internal controls

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Cambodian citizen
• At least  4 years of work experience in accounting and finance function in a professional or fast-paced business environment
• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics or other related
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
• Highly proficient in Excel and SAP system are advantage

Ideally, youll also have

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to handle shifting priorities and balance multiple projects independently
• Willingness to show initiative and display ownership of work
• Able to work under pressure and thrive to complete the assigned work with the determined deadline
• Highly detail oriented with an aptitude for problem solving using sound judgment
• Collaborates well with others to achieve overall organizational objectives
• Ability to assimilate new information quickly
