The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our Ashurst Advance Brisbane team on an 18 month fixed term contract during an exciting period of growth and transformation. The role forms an integral part of our APAC business partnering team and will be key in driving the achievement of business priorities by enabling partners and business leaders to effectively manage and support their people with a focus on implementing market leading change and innovation, developing and retaining talent, employee engagement and wellbeing.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Extensive generalist HR experience delivering support to a sophisticated client base and dealing with multiple stakeholders in the professional services industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and a solid understanding of end-to-end HR functions and best practice
  • Demonstrated consultative based communication skills, with strong relationship building, commercial acumen and influencing capability
  • Experience in balancing strategic input while ensuring 'hands on' implementation across the range of HR functions.
  • A true results driven approach - self-motivated, practical, organised and comfortable managing competing priorities.
