About the role

Youll help us build the next generation of systems that help us run multi region, scalable processes to identify customers who they say they are and ensure any processes minimise the chance of financial crime manifesting throughout a customers lifecycle. Youll be embedded in one of our product teams, partner with Product, Engineering, Ops and Compliance to improve control effectiveness, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

What youll do

• Work on the KYC analytics 3 body problems of risk, friction and cost

  • Nearly every risk based decision needs to balance the inherent risks of onboarding criminals against user friction and operational costs   

  • Size opportunities, model impact on volume/cost/risk, and evaluate control changes and operational experiments.Quantify why documents are rejected and the effectiveness of recovery prompts

• Help design scalable platforms

  • This is a team about building sustainable, long term foundations

  • This isnt about short term growth hacking - youll help build a long lasting platform

• Embody a data-as-a-product mentality  

  • Work with engineers to build well instrumented systems that allow us to understand end to end performance

  • Define and maintain sourceoftruth datasets and dashboards for onboarding funnels, manual reviews, document processing and operational performance.

  • Build selfserve data assets and documentation so stakeholders can answer common questions independently

• Stakeholder partnership

  • Translate questions from CDD Ops, Product and Engineering into clear analytical plans; communicate insights, tradeoffs and recommendations.

  • Shape the what next for product outcomes
