Full Job Description

Our White Collar Practice specializes in defending and advising clients on a wide range of corporate crime and regulatory enforcement matters. We provide specialized legal services related to fraud, bribery, corruption, insider trading, money laundering and other financial crimes. Our team conducts internal investigations, manages responses to government inquiries and navigates complex regulatory landscapes. We also represent clients in criminal prosecutions, enforcement actions and associated civil litigation. By leveraging our extensive legal expertise and strategic insights into regulatory trends, our White Collar Practice helps clients mitigate risks, handle crises effectively, and safeguard their reputation and business interests.

Roles at this level will be developing foundational legal skills and support senior lawyers with relatively straightforward legal tasks. Their role involves conducting legal research and drafting materials to support matters. Their primary focus is on learning and developing essential litigation / dispute resolution skills while contributing to the overall matter resolution and day-to-day operations of the team.

The roles and responsibilities of this job include:

  • Conducts research on legal issues, applicable law, and statutes to support case preparation and strategy

  • Drafts basic legal documents, including pleadings, motions and discovery requests under the guidance of more senior lawyers

  • Organizes and maintains case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and readily accessible

  • Assists with the discovery process by reviewing documents, managing evidence and preparing discovery materials

  • Attends hearings and depositions to observe and assist senior lawyers, taking detailed notes during proceedings

  • Handles basic day-to-day communication with clients to gather information and respond to inquiries

  • Handles administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and filing documents

  • No supervisory responsibility

  • Works under supervision

  • Legal qualification

  • Foundational experience in law, typically with 0 - 2 years of practice post qualification

  • Strong research, drafting and analytical skills to support on legal matters

  • Experience handling legal tasks of some complexity

  • Good communication skills
