At a program level:
You will engage in a high-impact strategic assignment in an area of the business, to help meet the financial needs of our clients,
You will impact the way people invest by seizing new opportunities and identifying critical insights for Vanguard.
You will integrate into a robust alumni network who share your belief of doing whats right for our clients.
You will define your journey to success as this role is different for every individual.
During the 10 weeks you will:
Tackle strategic business challenges with rigor, demonstrating the ability to optimally acclimate into the assigned area, understand the objectives of the assignment in the broader context of Vanguard, exceed or achieve internship objectives with accountability for all projects and assignments.
Build sound business and investment acumen. Apply understanding of Vanguard's investment methodology, products and services, and the competitive environment to deliver high-impact projects.
Conduct efficient and detailed research and analysis of strategic product/service and business model opportunities and issues confronting Vanguard.
Interpret and analyze both internal and external data of high complexity using conceptual thinking and discernment to derive key insights for strategic projects.
Refine presentation and leadership impact skills through formal and informal training; through peer, mentor and leader feedback.
Engage in continual personal and professional development with a demonstrated dedication to training and research, and building tenacious personal learning habits.
Lead or participate in discussions and projects pertaining to key business issues/opportunities. Lead projects from inception through implementation ensuring project deadlines are met. Define project scope and requirements, establish timelines, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
What it takes
You have an undergraduate degree and current enrollment in an MBA program.
Minimum of 5 years work experience post undergrad reflecting a progression of increased responsibilities and impact, including exposure to strategy, consulting, or business analytics.
You have a comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to explore a variety of challenges and pivot as needed.
Deep curiosity and interest in investment management.
You have demonstrated learning agility and strong relationship management skills.
You are a clear and effective communicator.
You can make strategic decisions with an ability to collaboratively influence and effectively interact at all levels, both internally and externally in a matrixed environment.

The start date for this program will be May/June 2027.
Seeking December 2027 or May 2028 MBA graduates.
This is a hybrid position based in Malvern, PA, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.
