Team & Opportunity

Vanguard is seeking an experienced investment professional to help drive the positioning, oversight and market engagement of our multi-asset product suite.

As our Head of Multi-Asset Solutions, you will serve as a senior subject matter expert for Vanguard's multi-asset products, partnering with stakeholders across Investments, Product and Distribution to deliver strong outcomes for investors.

Based in Melbourne, this role provides the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across Investments, Product and Distribution, while representing Vanguard with advisers and clients.

Core responsibilities

Lead, develop and manage team performance.

• Act as a key ambassador for Vanguard's multi-asset capabilities
• Represent Vanguard's multi-asset investment philosophy with advisers, institutional partners and clients
• Translate complex portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment concepts into clear, compelling and market-relevant insights
• Partner with distribution teams to support key client and adviser relationships

Drive product strategy and positioning

• Contribute to the ongoing development and positioning of Vanguard's multi-asset product suite in Australia
• Identify opportunities to improve competitiveness, investor outcomes and market relevance
• Conduct strategic product analysis and develop recommendations for senior leaders in Australia and globally
• Leverage global capabilities and insights to enhance local product offerings

Deliver investment and product expertise

• Oversee product monitoring, performance analysis and portfolio commentary
• Provide clear narratives around performance outcomes, portfolio construction and market positioning
• Act as a trusted adviser to internal stakeholders across Investments, Product, Marketing and Distribution
• Contribute to product launches, market insights and strategic initiatives

What Were Looking For

You are an experienced investment professional with deep expertise across multi-asset investing and portfolio construction, combined with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of audiences.

You'll bring:

• Significant experience in multi-asset investing, asset allocation, investment strategy, portfolio construction or related product leadership roles
• Proven ability to communicate investment insights to advisers, clients and internal stakeholders
• Experience translating complex investment concepts into practical client outcomes
• Experience partnering across investment, distribution and product teams to deliver commercial and client outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across complex organisations
• CFA Preferred.
