Role Summary

The Data Analyst, Specialist is responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions and improve operational efficiency. This role involves structuring complex business requests into well-defined analytical projects, extracting and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources and developing automated reporting solutions to enhance data accessibility and decision-making.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, translate requirements into analytical projects, and drive end-to-end execution with structured problem-solving.

  • Gather, clean and validate structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency in data processing.

  • Analyze and integrate data from multiple sources, including advertising platforms, Adobe Analytics, and CRM systems, to generate actionable business insights.

  • Develop end-to-end marketing and sales funnel analytics by tracking customer journeys from campaign engagement through lead generation and sales conversion.

  • Leverage Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) data, sales interactions, opportunity pipelines, and revenue metrics to provide a holistic view of marketing effectiveness and business performance.

  • Conduct advanced statistical analyses, including A/B testing, experimentation, regression analysis, and campaign performance measurement to optimize marketing strategies.

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions across marketing, events, content engagement, and operational performance metrics.

  • Analyze user engagement and content utilization data from platforms such as Seismic to assess content effectiveness and adoption trends.

  • Explore and onboard new data sources, including Adobe Workfront, to create reporting solutions and measure operational efficiency, productivity, and ROI.

  • Perform deep-dive analysis and statistical modelling to identify trends, correlations and business drivers, enabling data-backed decision-making.

  • Design and develop visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to simplify complex data for business users.

  • Automate recurring reporting and analytics workflows using SQL and Python, reducing manual efforts and improving data accessibility.

  • Implement predictive models, clustering techniques and forecasting algorithms to support business strategy, risk assessment and operational planning.

  • Work closely with data engineers, IT teams and business stakeholders to enhance data architecture, ensuring seamless data integration and availability.

  • Validate, optimize and standardize analytical methodologies, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and best practices in data analysis.

  • Mentor, train and provide guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the analytics team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in advanced data analysis, statistical modeling or business intelligence.

  • Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, IT, or a Bachelors in Statistics/Mathematics.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data extraction and performance optimization.

  • Expertise in Python for scripting, data manipulation, automation and advanced analytics.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or Looker to create interactive reports and experience in marketing concepts of A/B testing.

  • Expertise in marketing and digital analytics, A/B testing, campaign effectiveness measurement, customer behaviour analysis, and conversion optimization to drive data-driven business outcomes

  • Nice to have skills- Generative AI, Claude Code, experience in Adobe suite or Google Analytics
