Full Job Description
Supervise laboratory activities and product development to ensure compliance with the quality and safety standards established by the company, and contribute to business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise finished product testing in the laboratory to ensure product approval in accordance with the standards defined by the Company
- Monitor laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with the required quality and safety standards.
- Maintain laboratory supply stock to ensure availability of materials.
- Supervise laboratory operating procedures to ensure compliance with the quality and HSEQ standards (including energy) established by the Company.
- Comply with the safety measures required for laboratory work to ensure adherence to the applicable safety regulations.
- Contribute to the certification and/or maintenance of the plant's management system.
- Supervise and/or approve raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external customer requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations of direct reports.
- Act as backup supervisor across different operational areas.
- Prepare technical specifications for packaging and raw materials.
- Request quotes and create purchase orders in Navision for laboratory supplies, technical services, and equipment.
- Enter invoices into the Navision system.
- Monitor chemical precursor stock and submit quarterly reports to RENPRE.
Knowledge skills and abilities
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of ISO and IATF 16949 standards
- Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) and Core Tools
- Advanced English proficiency
